Hi, I am Els Meijer and I work as a general practitioner (MD) in Holland.
The Embodied Psycho-Sexual Method and Desilets Method deeply transformed my
personal life and subsequently that naturally flowed into my work as a doctor.
I am currently weaving it into my profession specifically
regarding women’s health issues and sexuality.
I am especially passionate about bringing more consciousness,
gentleness and respect into internal examinations
and gynaecological procedures
(e.g. asking permission before touching or entering
someone’s genitals (both women and men)
and following the woman’s body when inserting an IUD).

As I am integrating this work into my life and profession,
I’m slowly but steadily discovering a deeper desire
in my heart to further expand and create more!
